CD Projekt RED and GOG.com team up to announce something big

What're you doing on October 18th? At 18:00 GMT (That's 6:00pm EST), GOG.com and CD Projekt RED are partnering up to divulge some big news via livestream. Not only will CD Projekt RED be announcing the title of their new game during this event, but GOG will additionally be announcing several exciting new titles along with a unique chance for users to net classic games for a "literally unbeatable price."

While no one's saying too much, CD Projekt RED is expected to make several announcements in regards to the upcoming launch of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings on OS X. The big one though, is on their upcoming game based off of the classic pen-and-paper RPG, Cyberpunk. Finally, we'll get a name for this beast as well as more information about what this futuristic RPG will bring to the table.
GOG hasn't said what titles they're going to be bringing to their service, but what I can tell you is what was said:
"...GOG.com will also be announcing that it is bringing the best PC games from throughout history to a new operating system. That’s not all of the news that GOG.com has planned for the Special Event, however: they will also be showcasing several new releases, as well as giving gamers a unique chance to get some of the greatest classic games ever made for a literally unbeatable price."

We might be seeing a bit more of events like this.

Having a thread with close to 7,000 votes, it seems the Linux announcement is inevitable. As far as the games go, that's anybody's guess. GOG has given us some of the greatest games ever so I'm excited to see what other gems they'll be bringing to their service. Oh, and the whole "unbeatable price" quip? I'm assuming we're going to be seeing a lot more 'pay what you'd like' events like GOG has going on right now.
